Kanji symbols with its meanings and romajis on keyboard in English for your practice

This post tells you kanji1st grade of Japanese elementary school students learn not only with its pronunciation or romaji to type on a keyboard but its meaning. As a matter of fact, it is not exact to say one or two meaning to each kanji, but for convenience to memorize, I put a meaning to each kanji below.

Japanese kanji sentences and words you can see as a dictionary or guide

There are some kanjis which I have already picked up and explained its details, like kanjis for numbers and so forth, but I am introducing you all kanji with a guide for meaning. Each sentence has at least one kanji, sometimes does more than two. You can pronounce all the sentences because I am writing its romaji, but the meanings of these words are unknown for you probably. If so, take these sentences for your lesson to extend your vocabulary too, not only as a kanji practice.
  1. 学校のテストで一いをとった
    がっこうのてすとでいちいをとった
    Gakkouno tesutode ichiiwo totta
    I got a number one on a school test.
  2. 右手はおはしをもつほうです
    みぎてはおはしをもつほうです
    Migitewa ohashiwo motsuhou desu
    A right hand is a one to hold chopsticks.
  3. きょうは雨か~
    きょうはあめか~
    Kyouwa ameka~
    It’s rainy toady.
  4. 円をかくのへたなんだ

  20. 耳に虫が入るのと、目と耳と口に水が入るのはどっちがいい?
    みみにむしがはいるのと、めとみみとくちにみずがはいるのはどっちがいい?
    Mimini mushiga hairunoto, meto mimito kuchini mizugahairunowa docchigaii ? Which do you like, a wrom comes in your ear or water comes in your eyes, ears, and mouth?
  21. 川のちかくで千人もの人が生きているのがはっ見された
    かわのちかくでせんにんものひとがいきているのがはっけんされた
    Kawano chikakude senninmonohitoga ikiteirunoga hakkensareta
    A thousand people near a river were found alive.
  22. 青い石を草のたくさん生えている村で正しくならべると土から天にのぼる林が出てくるだろう

    A grove would appear and grow into the sky if you could sort blue stones correctly in a village where there are many grasses.

    A man with big feet lives in the town.
  24. 白い竹と木が百本生えた年に、なにかがおこる

    Something would happen in a year when a hundred of white bamboos and trees appear.

Japanese kanji symbol chart for 3rd grade of elementary school in Japan (part1)

You have already learnt 240 kanji before going to kanji posted on this article, but can you memorize those well? I am thinking that these 240 kanjis are well-used in our daily life, and you would understand Japanese well if you were here. I hope you become a Japanese dictionary or Japanese translator for your friends when you come to Japan by studying Japanese at this blog.

On this post, I listed 100 kanjis which are learnt at 3rd grade of elementary school. Actually the number of kanjis which 3rd grade students learn reaches 200 kanjis, but it is too many to show you on one post. So I divided all to two parts. Japanese sentences using all kanjis you have learnt here

Just memorizing is too boring to continue as you know. It might be the time to make words or sentences to make it fun. I am introducing you Japanese sentences with kanjis, English translation, Japanese only in hiragana, and romaji to male you tye the Japanese on your keyboard. The kanjis used here are only what you have learnt so far.
  1. 悪いことをするのはよくない
    It is not good to do a bad thing.

  2. 安くお酒を飲めるお店を知ってるんだ
    I know a restaurant serves us alcohol reasonably.

Oh I just realized that this kanji list is too difficult to memorize because of lack of its meaning. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will make a kanji chart WITH each meaning or kanji word.
