[REAL Japanese] I watch it.

Hi, finally we have got into Golden Week. YEAH! Golden Week is a week off for almost all of Japanese at the first week on May. So I slept for 8 hours, and went to the gym, and watched DVD today.

I think you are confused with "観" and "見". "見" is translated to see, and "観" is translated to watch. "観" is a kind of to enjoy artistic things. "見" is to just see physically.

The usage

"一段落する" here means that I finished a part of work, but still I have things to do. However, this is one of the meanings it has. There are other meanings which "一段落する" has. For example,

• Inflation in Japan has stopped. 日本のインフレも一段落した。

Can you grasp what "一段落する" means? I think it is close to " to settle", isn't it?

Speaking of "listen", it is difficult to listen correctly to foreign languages as you know.

Hi guys.

I'm introducing the kanji about today.

Examples:

上着を脱いで家にあがる－I enter a house after undressing a outer wear.
(うわぎをぬいでいえにあがる）
(uwagiwo nuide ieni agaru)

脱衣所はどこですか？－Can you tell me where a restroom is?
（だついじょはどこですか？）
（datsuijoha dokodesuka?)

#Please note that there are 2 pronunciation, nugu and datsu.

Etymology:
脱 consists of 2 parts, and the left part, a kanji which 月 is attached to means a body-related thing or action.
(「脱」は2つの部分からなっていて、左部分にある「月」がついている漢字は身体や動作に関係した漢字になります。）
(「脱」ha futatsuno bubun kara natteite, hidaribubun niaru 「月」ga tsuiteirukanjiha karadaya dousani kankeishita kanjini narimasu)

So when you see other kanji with 月, you can suggest that the kanji is related to body or action.
(月のついた漢字を見たら、その漢字は身体や動作に関連したものだと推測してください。）
(「月」notsuita kanjiwo mitara, sonokanjiha karadaya dousani kanrenshita monodato suisokushite kudasai)

Do you have a good sleep?
(みんなよく寝てる？)

Today's kanji means "to sleep".
(今日の漢字の意味は「寝る」だよ)

Examples:

  (今日は早く寝よう)

[No.0038 Kanji] Throw

Hello!

I will introduce a kanji which you can use when you face something tough this time.
(今回は、みんなが大変なことに直面したときに使える言葉を紹介します）
(konkaiha, minnaga taihenna kotoni chokumen shitatokini tsukaeru kotoba wo shokaishimasu)


Examples:

• Sometimes I want to throw in my everything.
  (わたしはときどき全てを投げ出したくなることがあります）
  (watashiha tokidoki subetewo nagedashitakunaru kotoga arimasu)


• She got mad and threw a pencil. (彼女は怒って鉛筆を投げた) (kanojoha okotte enpitsuwo nageta)

[No.0035 Kanji] Meet

These kanjis mean "to meet", and are pronounced "au".
(この漢字は「人と会う」という意味の漢字で、アウと発音します。）
(konokanjiha hitotoau toiuimino kanjide au to hatsuonshimasu)

There are two kanjis meaning "to meet". One is "会" above and another is "逢". Can you tell the difference?
(2種類の漢字があって、一つは「会」、もう一つは「逢」。この2つの違いがわかりますか？）
(2shurui no kanjiga atte, hitotsuha 「」、mouhitotsuha 「」。kono hutatsuno chigai ga wakarimasuka?)

You didn't know?

I don't know neither LOL.

The latter looks a little bit more romantic. It smells a love matter.
後者の方が、少しロマンチックな漢字のような気がしますね。恋のにおいがします。

[No.0033 Kanji] Know/knowledge

This is a kanji meaning "to know" or "knowledge". I personally like it.


Example:
おばあちゃんには知恵（ちえ）がある。－ My grandma has knowledge.
(obaachan niha tie ga aru)

知らないの？－ Don't you know it?
(shiranaino?)


It is easy-to-write, but looks smart. That's why I like it.

[No. 0024 Kanji] Outside

This kanji is pronounced "そと soto" or "がい gai". This is basic, so there are many kanji phrases with it.

Example:

今日（きょう）は外出（がいしゅつ）します。－ I'm going out today.

(kyou ha gaisyutsu shimasu)

外国（がいこく）に行（い）きたい。－ I want to go to foreign countries.

(gaikoku ni ikitai)

子（こ）どもは外（そと）であそびなさい。－ Kids should play outside.

(kodomo ha soto de asobinasai.)
