Japanese kanji for small

This is a one of primary kanji, easy-to-wrtite and frequently-used one.

(これは簡単にかけて、よく使われる基本的な感じの一つだよ。)

(koreha kantannikakete, yoku tsukawreru kihontekina kanjino hitotsudayo)

Japanese example sentences including a kanji meaning small.


  • 頼んだカレーが小さかった。-The curry that I ordered was small.
    (たのんだかれーがちいさかった)
    (tanondakare-gachiisakatta)

  • 大は小を兼ねる。-The greater serves for the lesser.
    (だいはしょうをかねる)
    (daiha shouwo kaneru)

The second example is one of Japanese proverbs.

(2つ目の例文は日本のことわざのひとつだよ。)

(ふたつめのれいぶんはにほんのことわざのひとつだよ)

(futatsumeno reibunha nihonno kotowazano hitotsudayo)
